Philips TV & Sound came to The Brand Father to help them develop an approach and a concept to promote their latest product innovations – a wireless AV system including 4 speakers and an Ambilight TV. The end goal was to postion Philips TV & Sound as a contemporary brand and increase awareness amongst a relevant music audience, whilst at the same time encouraging trial and positive word of mouth.
To answer the brief we proposed a partnership with Amsterdam Dance Event and came up with a unique pop-up experience called “Living Room Sessions” that went off the beaten track of the main programme having art and technology at the heart of the experience. We partnered with DJ and producer Joris Voorn and 3D artist Johana Kroft and let them co-create an experimental audiovisual piece that transported people into a different world. Next to that visitors could enjoy a digital art gallery showcasing the works of 5 local digital artists. The experience attracted over 600 visitors and left a special mark.
